The opening ceremony of the 2023 Laboratory Safety Culture Month of Chang 'an University was held in Weishui Campus.
Vice President of Chang 'an University said Laboratory Safety Culture Month is an important measure for schools to strengthen the construction of laboratory safety culture and promote teachers and students to firmly establish the concept of experimental safety. It is hoped that the whole school will further strengthen the awareness of experimental safety, improve the ability of safety prevention, jointly create a people-oriented safe experimental environment, and contribute to the construction of a safe and harmonious campus and the protection of the life and health of teachers and students.
The theme of this Laboratory Safety Culture Month is "Everyone talks about experimental safety, and every emergency response meeting". In addition to the on-site experience activities at the opening ceremony, laboratory safety emergency drills, lectures and training, knowledge competitions, publicity posters and video creation competitions will be carried out successively in each secondary college.
